We've shipped 1000 orders! One third to go.
We're going to ship what we can this week but we're still waiting on the final batch of Cherry Red Gilded decks from the USPCC, they'll be in this week and we should have everything out next week. Apologies if you haven't gotten your reward yet, if it included Original Cherry Red gilded cards that is why. We'll be shipping them out as soon as we can!

Color Key for Multiple Deck Pledges

If you only pledged for one deck you can ignore this update:
If you've gotten your decks in you may have noticed there are some removable color coated stickers on the exterior game boxes. This is our color key system for determining which variant is which. I opted to not have seals on the decks as I don't like the way they look once they're torn open and we weren't going to be able to sort by color with the decks inside of larger game boxes.
We dropped off another large shipment today at the post office and are about halfway through the orders!

We got through about a third of the orders last week thanks to my amazing team here in the studio and I see that some of you have already gotten your rewards in the mail! If you'd like to share on social media with the tag #openportals we'd love to feature you in the @open.portals instagram story.
We should be getting at least another third of the orders out this week, if not more. I'll send out another update at the top of next week.
We have another shipment of Gold Gilded Original decks coming in today that we have been waiting on, so that should help put us ahead soon.

Hello Everyone and happy new year!
I have good news! We're beginning to ship this week! We have (almost) all of the decks in the studio and are going to be getting these out as quickly as we can. The shipping is going to be staggered as there are a lot of you and the post office will refuse us if we drop off 1000 packages in the same day, but know that everything should go out within the month (warranting that there are no unforeseen delays).

Once we're a little further in the shipping process I'll send out another update.

Gift Voucher + Photos!

Hello!
After the last update some of you requested a gift voucher to print out and give to your loved ones if Open Portals was intended to be a holiday gift.
Here is a PDF that you can print out.
The gilded decks have started to trickle into the studio, we got a batch of the red gilded decks and are expecting the Gold to come in at the end of next week.
I don't think I have revealed this yet, I was going to wait until packages started arriving, but I designed an exterior box to hold each deck and the two manuals that come with it! These came out exquisitely: they have a soft touch velvet feel and are finished with gold foil. They weren't cheap but I think it really ties the whole project together. Each deck ordered through Kickstarter will come with the exterior box for free.
